Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Minister Abdullah al-Gharbi issued a decision relieving Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Aleppo of his post due to negligence in carrying out the duties assigned to him.

Following an inspection tour in Aleppo city on Tuesday, as part of the visit of a government delegation headed by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, al-Gharbi said that 75 workers will be provided to Aleppo Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate to help monitor markets and curb cases of fraud or monopolization.

The Minister also issued a decision revoking the license of al-Sirian bakery for its owner’s failure to invest in the bakery’s optimal production capacity and poor production quality.
